Monetary values are decimal strings. Each JSON row requires sku, price, currency, price_basis and unit. A pack price needs pack_quantity. Optional moq requires moq_basis. Optional selling_prices maps exact SKUs to current per-unit selling prices.
For files, send multipart old_file, new_file and a JSON config with separate old_mapping / new_mapping, worksheet names and old_defaults / new_defaults. Defaults are explicit constants for currency, price basis, unit, pack quantity or minimum order; choose a column or a default, never both.
Responses include source rows, changed fields, normalized costs, margin changes and actual billing. 401: invalid key. 402: insufficient funding or spending cap. 422: invalid input, with no quota spent. A repeated request returns 409 and its usage reference without another charge. Result bodies are not retained for replay; reuse the idempotency key when checking an uncertain request.
See pack shrinkage change the unit cost from $10 to $12. This fixed demonstration runs the same comparison engine locally; it is not a paid API call.
Use your own JSON and a funded, scoped key below. A successful comparison spends one included unit or $0.25 in prepaid credits. During this preview, funded keys are owner-only and test money is used.
