Terms of use

The service's scope, your responsibilities, billing rules and current limitations, in plain language.

Evaluation preview

Public real-money purchases are not enabled. Test credits have no cash value. The private production environment is being prepared separately. x402 and MCP purchasing are not available yet.

Operator and current scope

PayloadPier is the trading name of an individual operator based in Ontario, Canada. The public release offers Supplier Price Compare. Other API ideas are not purchase promises. Evaluation use is governed by these terms and the privacy policy. Paid-use provisions below describe the intended launch rules and apply only when a working live checkout presents them. Public real-money purchases remain disabled; the legal seller name and commercial contact disclosures remain to be finalized before paid launch.

What the API does

Compare supplied CSV, XLSX or JSON snapshots by exact SKU. Outputs depend on your inputs, mappings, currencies and units. The service does not verify supplier quotations, convert currencies, match approximate SKUs, perform OCR, place orders or provide financial, legal or tax advice. Inspect source-row evidence and verify results before acting on them. We do not promise savings or a particular commercial outcome.

Your account and agents

You must be authorized to use the submitted data and to make purchases for your account. Keep keys secret, give each integration only needed scopes, and revoke compromised keys. You are responsible for authorizing agents and their spending. A daily wallet cap limits prepaid spending; included subscription units are controlled by plan quota independently. No third-party agent receives purchasing authority merely because it can discover an endpoint.

Do not access someone else's account, submit unlawful data, compromise the service, or bypass authorization or request limits. We may pause access to investigate abuse, security incidents or disputed/refunded payments. Contact support if you believe a restriction is incorrect.

Pricing and usage

  • Launch prices are in USD: $0.25 per successful comparison, $10 prepaid credits, $19/month for 200 comparisons or $49/month for 1,000.
  • Applicable taxes, if charged, must be shown before purchase. Your bank may apply currency-conversion charges outside our control.
  • One successful comparison consumes one available included unit, or prepaid credit at the PAYG rate. Invalid input and rate-limited requests do not consume paid quota.
  • Included units expire at the subscription period's end and do not roll over. Prepaid credits are an account balance for API use and are not transferable currency.
  • Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation through the billing portal stops future renewal at the paid period's end; remaining included units stay subject to that period's expiry.

Retries, limits and availability

Use a unique Idempotency-Key per operation and preserve it after a timeout. A recorded retry returns HTTP 409 and a usage reference without another charge; result bodies are not replayed. A lost response after committed work may need support reconciliation. Do not automatically retry with new operation keys.

Each snapshot supports up to 5,000 rows. Uploaded files are limited to 2 MiB each and total request bodies to 5 MiB. Authenticated API attempts are limited to 60 per account per fixed UTC minute across all keys. HTTP 429 includes a retry delay. These limits can be revised with notice; existing purchased terms will not be silently rewritten. No uptime SLA or uninterrupted availability is promised during this preview.

Billing problems and refunds

Test purchases and credits have no cash value. For future live purchases, report incorrect charges or failed delivery with the payment or usage reference. We review the ledger and correct verified billing errors. A successful comparison is billable even if its output reports no changes.

The proposed commercial policy is to accept unused prepaid-credit refund requests within 14 days of purchase, subject to reconciliation of the corresponding unused balance, and return approved refunds to the original payment method. Consumed usage is not ordinarily refundable unless there was a billing or service error. Subscription cancellation does not automatically refund the current period. This policy must be finalized and displayed before live checkout; it does not limit rights or remedies required by applicable law. Refunds and disputes can temporarily pause access while the account is reconciled.

Rights, changes and contact

You retain rights to your inputs. You may use returned comparison results in your workflows. PayloadPier retains rights in its software, documentation and branding. We will state changes to pricing and service terms before new purchases or renewals where required. These terms do not remove mandatory consumer or privacy rights. The operator is based in Ontario, Canada; mandatory laws applicable to you continue to apply.
